The Verdi Requiem

Philadelphia Orchestra
conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin

Recording history in Philadelphia!

The Philadelphia Orchestra pulled out all the stops to kick off the inaugural season of their eighth music director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin. To put this in perspective, one hundred years ago the orchestra welcomed another conductor and music director, Leopold Stokowski. I worked with the orchestra’s innovative and talented audio/video team to capture two remarkable nights of music.

Opening Night

Yannick invited his friend and close musical collaborator, Renée Fleming to join him at the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Verizon Hall.
