This was San Francisco’s first opera simulcast with the great Patricia Racette in the title role.
We sent the video and sound two whole blocks to Civic Center Plaza and thousands of chilly folks stayed for the whole show.
The new general director of SFO is David Gockley. He is the man who invented OperaVision and opera simulcasts. Thank you David!
